Tara, We Love Ya Guts

Waves is happy to suck eggs this month and proclaim: “We love gut sliders!” Why? Her name is Tara, she is 19 and she is single. When not modelling for sportswear label Lorna Jane, the Gold Coast hottie is surfing prone. “I bodyboard,” chuckles the cheeky-sounding Leo. “I know I shouldn’t say that to a surf magazine, but I’ve bodyboarded my whole life and love it. I just got back from Bali – it wasn’t as big as I expected but it was super fun. I mainly surfed Kuta Beach because I was a little too scared to hit up Bingin and Impossibles. My friend said the reef was pretty sketchy and I didn’t want to get messed up. I have a phobia about duck diving into the reef. I can’t come back all cut up and in pieces you know? Modelling is my career.”
