"When I was surfing on this board it felt a little narrow but when I saw the footage it actually looked like it was comfortable under my feet. It looked better than what it felt. The tail was the only thing that was really off-putting but it gave me a good release off the lip and provided some good down-the-line speed, something that Rusty boards tend to have a lot of. It felt like it was a bit of a flatter concave and that certainly is more suited to my surfing but often I’d try to really lay a turn down and the narrow tail gave it a feeling that it might slide out a bit. Plus, the boxier rail made it harder to sink a rail into the wave face."
