"On my first wave it seemed to gather a lot of speed straight off the bat. It was loose (but not twitchy) and really responsive off the top. Overall it was close to a magic board. I loved that it had glass-in fins and a fair bit of tail kick. I found that this really helped release the tail when I did top turns. Also, it had a bit of beef through the centre of it that really helped it weave in the fatter surf and maintain all your speed until the next section came along."
