Pre surf:
“Straight up, I know this board is going to go fast because of how wide the thing is. It’s also got a pretty deep single concave, which is another factor for speed. I’m curious to see how the crescent tail will perform because i’ve never ridden one. It’s kinda throwing me off a little, but I know the combination of the width, the concave and the flat rocker will make it a fun board. You could say the spray got my attention as well. I’m using the FCS h3 nexus because they’ll allow me to maintain speed while being able to turn sharply.”
Post surf:
“As soon as I got to my feet on this board it wanted to take off down the line. The crescent tail gave it a nice release off the top and felt like it held to the wave face. Having the extra width under my feet also meant that the board just glided through the dead sections. I found my self skipping-out a little once the waves got a bit of size, but it was the perfect board for small and sluggish conditions. The everyday surfer could jump on and rip this thing to shred because it’s a little rocket.”
