Pre surf:
“I know this is going to be a fun high-performance board. It’s your standard short board shape so I’m expecting to be similar to a lot of my own boards. It’s also mick fanning’s pro-model as well so it should fly. It’s got a really nice rounded square, which should make it tight in the pocket and release really well out of the lip. The single-to-double concave and the rocker should also complement the board in clean waves. I can’t wait to get on this thing. I’m using the FCS jw-1 fin because they provide a nice balance between hold and release.”
Post surf:
“As soon as I jumped on this board, it wanted to take off. It performed exactly how I expected and was fast, loose and responsive. The tight rounded-square tail gave it a nice little pop out of the lip and the board seemed to flow from turn-to- turn. I think this board would perform in nearly all conditions because this board has it all. The high-performance surfer would benefit from this board the most. “
