Julian Wilson has been busy gathering clips for his upcoming profile movie “Scratching the Surface” which is set to be released in October. Although Julian has been injured over the last few months, he is now back in the water and ready to rock. “It’s not your standard surf movie and I believe we have stepped things up, just without smoke machines…” Julian claims in the upcoming issue of Waves, which goes on sale Wednesday the 19th of May. You can read the rest of the interview when it hits the stands but in the meantime, feast your eyes on some frame grabs below from a recent trip to Mexico starring Julian and Dane Reynolds. “Just without the smoke machines” ??? – sounds like someone is a little bit sour about not being invited to join the modern collective. or is julian just too big for that now?
