Round two of the Waves Black Knight Freesurfing Award, episode three, has kicked off in spectacular fashion with contestants well and truly picking up their games with their second video entries. After what has been an inundation of votes in round one, hi-fi surfing, sick edits and comedic skits litter the round 2 clips, all delivered and preying for your sole vote. Only you have the power. jack freestone s part was unreal. never really seen the kid surf before, he wasnt just bustin one maneuver waves.

All you peanuts ragging on these guys pull your heads out of your asses and show them some respect. They get thrown into this and why wouldn’t you make the most of it and try to be entertaining!? If you don’t like it switch it off, go back to your downloading and don’t look at it…
Joskes section is sick. Aussie Power. Ellis’ section is sick- lo fi and logging. Whats with the ironic nature of Davey Cathels song? doesnt suit his comp style surfing.
Ellis Ericson’s Section is Sick!
Real different editing, and the dude rips on anything under his feet, logs, huls, finless boards. Not stuck on just one board, only competes in local comps. Closest thing to a free surfer out of any of these guys.
davey’s little skit was hilarious! ellis ericson doesn’t even shape boards and his section was horrible. it shows if you try too hard to be different . freestones section was definitely the best along with joske’s.
Ellis Ericson’s part really doesnt show how well he can actually surf. As far as surfing goes I think Davey Cathels is unreal and Joy Division is better than most garage in surf flicks these days.

All that these guys are trying to do is make a living out of something we all love doing. I don’t have the talent so I don’t try, these guy’s do. To all those who comment negatively, how about you send in a video showing what you can do. You won’t because what you can do isn’t as good. Good luck to all of you that have entered and I hope you get what you want out of this. In the end as long as you keep on surfing and loving it no matter what your skill level you have more than most people.
keep on surfing, it’s all you need.
